Columbus Bar...better late than never!

Stopped by for a meet and greet with the Columbus Bar regulars. We promised a special shout out to these guys...Chris, Bill, Jason, and John of the Local Drafts Amazing Race team....HOLLA! Thanks for the photo opt!

Pick up a Balloon

(Left) We came to the location of Columbus's first lit croquet court and received our balloon from Lorraine. Thanks to the photographer, Lisa!

Hmmm....what to do with that balloon to make it more Justice League style....WE'VE GOT IT!

The balloon was instantly morphed into a fellow Justice Leaguer from planet Krypton (the same planet, of course, as Superman; they are distant cousins).

Bad Hare Day?

So, we got confused, evidently. We happened to be in Petco and we saw some hares (bunnies) sitting in the corner making a mess of some gerbil food. We thought, "now there's a bad hare!" And, because there were multiple hares, we then concluded that this must be a REALLY "bad hare day." SCORE...CHALLENGE COMPLETE! Great job to all of you who gave themselves bad hair and participated with "bad hair day" downtown...we just got it wrong this time. Next time, we won't be fooled!

Feelin' Zen at One Body One Soul

Getting some much needed R & R at One Body One Soul with Tamera Pauli. We opened our door to enlightenment!

It's a busy life saving the world and even super heroes need a peaceful retreat.

Tamera has put her spell on us and we're feeling relaxed now (WAKE UP RAYANN!)....hopefully we can come out of this before our next challenge.

Flying in on Eos

(Right) Okay, so here we are with Eos, the sculpture that was saved by an amazing race team last year. We thought we would just fly in on her, given that she seems to appreciate the power of flight as well...it's a super hero thing. (Left) Here's Eos sportin the classically unique Justice League tee-shirt.

Tipton Lakes Triathlon

Carol takes a break from the daily grind to pose for a photo opt with Justice League.


We took a lunch break at Jill's, a downtown Columbus eatery, with Visitor's Welcome and found out some fun things that theses guys were up to:

Raleigh was getting stoked for the triathlon and having a pre-race grilled chicken sandwich.
Emili was trying to determine if she should wear some cool gloves when she drove the shuttle for the triathlon. Clint was doing the shuttle, too, we're thinking he put the idea in her head.
Clint was getting geared up for his upcoming trip to the great metro of Boone, Iowa where he will be attending the Farm Progress Show.

We wanted find the most interesting thing for batcave decor and WE FOUND IT! It is a magnificent piece of artwork, really: a handmade birdhouse, carved out of wood, and accented with turquoise. (right) Rick and Teresa Fischer of Fishers Feathered Friends were happy to let us show off their hard work. We were so happy that Teresa wanted to support us by wearing our Amazing Race get-up.
