Thank you, thank you, thank you!

From the Batcave to each and every one of our sponsors, we wanted to extend a superhero "thank you" for your contributions and support of the Amazing Race and CYP. We couldn't just thank one of you...so we sent a "thank you" note to ALL of you!

Block Party

(left) At the block party hanging out with a little big fan...future Justice Leaguer, perhaps? (bottom) Hangin out with the Red Bulls and TriTANs for some pre-party fun. (Right) Just fitting into our blocks...what else are you going to wear to a block party?

Rockin the Park

(Middle) Getting instructions from Jeff Kuehl, Regional Service Coordinator, on our volunteer duties...he is showing us how to be tough as we check ID's...no underage drinking will happen here! (Bottom) We divided and conquered with help from the Damsels in Success to make concert entry run smoothly. (Top) After the work was through, we took some time to rock out to the The Why Store.

Jolie Crider Memorial Skate Park

It was way to beautiful outside to skate indoors, so we hit up the ramps at the Jolie Crider Memorial skate park for our challenge. We got some good practice on our flying skills!

Down and Dirty...

Our dirty job fitting some pipes with Kevin Henney, who works for Dunlap General Contractors. We felt so powerful with these awesome tools! Good thing we had our classy white suits to keep our amazing race t-shirts from getting dirty!

The Seven Wonders...

Us with "Large Arch" and the Tri-TANs! This was our favorite; a powerful sculpture for a couple of determined teams!

Picnic at Mill Race and Irwin Gardens

Ahh...Irwin Gardens! The Tri-TANs were just as excited as we were to visit this beautiful place!

"Look, it's Justice League with Return of the Tri-TANs at Mill Race for a picnic. If Yogi could get past those superheros, he would be all over that picnic basket."

Hangin' out

Hangin' out being super heroes at the Kiwanis booth, taking down chairs and tables post-fair. Just another day making the world a better, cleaner place with the help of our amazing race teammates! We were happy to be there with teams B.A.S.H. and Tails of Joey and Daisy.

Dirty work at the fair

Doing some dirty work at the Batholomew County Fair. Wonder Woman is picking up some trash; she can do it all! We were happy to help out the Kiwanis Club as they closed down for the week. Nine days of selling chicken in sweltering heat was worth the the effort for these tireless Kiwanis club members.

Kiwanis help at the fair

Working hard at the fair, but taking a moment to strike a Justice League pose with Ron Arnold, Chairman of Kiwanis in Columbus.

On top of the world

This is team Justice League on top of the world. We finally found the "globe that floats on water." We searched the world over to find this beautiful scene in Columbus. Can you find it?

Dr. Webb Eye Exam

Getting our eyes checked out by Dr. Webb.

Warriors

We learned to be warriors and not weaklings. Even superheros need a reminder of how to exemplify this!

Bus

Taking charge and driving our metaphorical buses! Who's driving your bus? We shared this wonderful lecture with fellow Amazing Race Teams including C.E.M.M., Tri-Tans, and the Sizzles.

JL with C.E.M.M. Racers
